Pala Mesa Resort Wedding

Britnay and Bryan, crazy in love and energetically funny, tied the knot in the serene foothills of Temecula Wine Country at the beautiful Pala Mesa Resort in Fallbrook, CA.

From the first day I met them their magnetic and go with the flow energy completely matched everything I love about engagement and wedding photography.

Engagement Photos Pictured Below

Both the Bride & Groom got ready at the resort in separate rooms. The groom and his party got ready in room #6003 a large king suite with a beautiful front balcony that over looked a portion of the ceremony location and doubled as the wedding night room for the new Mr. & Mrs.

You won't want to miss the after after party pictures in this room!

First Look

That first touch, that first look, that first reaction. Whether with your groom, dad, or bridesmaids a first look is such a special moment that so many brides/grooms dream of, the instant smile or the quick tear rolling down their face as they have just turned around and laid eyes on their loved one for the first time this wedding day.

Britnay & Bryan just knew they had to have this special moment together before the wedding to just BE, to just take a moment, a breath and a look at one another without the commotion of the day. I was so happy to facilitate this moment for them. I placed them back to back, they held hands for a moment and then continued on by reading personal and special vows to each other before turning around. With a big smile on his face Bryan was just staring at Britnay who was glowing in the evening sun. In true fashion, the serious moment turned funny when Britnay could not wait to show her future husband her wedding boots, all blinged out and just her style.

Special Moments Captured

There were two other special moments captured that day and they were tear jerkers. Brit did a first look with her dad, which we can all agree is so special. Unbeknown to Brit's sister Kayla, they had set up a father daughter dance for her since she did not get the opportunity when she got married, there wasn't a dry eye in the crowd.

Romantic Photographs

Pair that staircase with some candles and romance and you've got yourself some emotionally beautiful photos to look back on.

Ceremonial Butterflies & A Flower Dude?

I love when a wedding ceremony incorporates different traditions or aspects, this bride and groom released butterflies during their ceremony, the butterflies even stayed around awhile before flying off into the mountains. Let's get to that Flower Dude, in addition to the ring bearer and flower girl this ceremony had a Beer Boy/Flower Dude to liven up the crowd and he did not disappoint. Were sensing he watched a little Magic Mike to get ready for his flower dude debut!

Have Fun With Your Wedding Party

The best pictures always happen when your having fun! This wedding party knew how to, well, PARTY!

Some of my favorite photo prompts include throwing the bride & groom in the air, let's hope you trust your friends to not drop you!

Rustic Chic w/a Side of Pampas

The reception was set up beautifully with a palette of orange flowers, minty greens, gorgeous gold centerpieces and PAMPAS. The trend has not yet fallen off and these big neutral fluffy stems bring so much depth to any dream wedding. Lets not forget the charming chandeliers that hang so elegantly from the draped fabric and the ode to Disney with the Minnie & Mickey cake topper.

FIREBALL

Giving the bride and groom 1 song to take pictures with all their guest at their respective tables is a new wedding trend that I am here for! This gives you some unforgettable memories that are FUN to look at and such a great alternative to the traditional stand and smile. The DJ blared Fireball and away we went. DO you like this trend? Which photo is your favorite?

Light Bars & Grand Exits

As we all know, the grand exit in every wedding is, oh so important! This marks the end of the wedding reception and the time when the bride and groom can get away and just enjoy each other..... I ended up being the third wheel for a hot second when the wedding ended but we will get back to that. The guests made a light bar tunnel for the bride and groom to run through at the end of the night with some special guests appearances before hand.

After After Party

Okay Okay, the moment everyone was waiting for. As a professional 3rd wheel, I obviously went back to the honeymoon suite with the newly weds! but for good reason! We missed the opportunity to do some detailed shots earlier in the day AND we had to get some fun jumping on the bed (shhh don't tell mom & dad) and feeding each other chocolate covered strawberries ...duh! Enjoy!

This was an Amazing wedding, from the people, to the decorations. A big thanks to Britnay & Bryan for allowing me to capture their special day and even crash their after party :)
